History

Our Members

We are an organization of over 4,000 higher education employees in Connecticut who, by joining together, are achieving what we cannot accomplish alone. We provide valuable services to our communities, helping to educate and support a higher education population of over 75,000 students at Connecticut’s community colleges, Charter Oak State College, and the University of Hartford. By standing together, we have a stronger voice in our working conditions, which are our students learning conditions. Our work touches the lives of every single Connecticut resident. We educate your children, we provide service in your communities, and we positively impact the economy by providing educated workers that Connecticut businesses need to thrive.
