July Events- BbWorld 08, July 15-17, Las Vegas, NV. Annual Blackboard users conference.
- Summer Labor Studies Institute, July 24-27, University of Maine at Farmington. Sponsored by several SEIU locals, participants learn how to build stronger union worksites.
August Events- Northeast Regional Summer School for Union Women, Aug. 3-8, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT. A five-day residential program sponsored by the United Association for Labor Education and the Coalition of Labor Union Women. For union women -- strengthen your knowledge of the labor movements; develop skills to be a more active union member and leader.
