Don't disappear after you retire. Join the 4C's Retirees Chapter. It's a
nice way to keep in touch with your colleagues and to learn about any
changes affecting retiree benefits.
The Chapter meets during the academic year on the second Tuesday of the
Month, 11:30 AM, at the 4C's Office. Retiree members receive e-mail
updates and continue to receive the Congress Chronicles. So even if you
live far away, you can stay connected.

Why Join the 4C's Retirees Chapter?
There are three reasons to join the 4C's retirees chapter.
1. Can you even list the ways that the system discriminates against retirees who work part-time after retiring? Who do you think is advocating for change so that our retirees get treated just the same as every other person?
2. Who is protecting your retirement benefits? Your COLA?
3. As one of our members said, "I retired; I didn't die. The Board's staff wants us to shut up and be gone. Well, it won't happen. I care deeply about what happens to my students and what happens to my colleagues. I joined this organization to help make it a strong voice for retirees, certainly, but I also want us to help current employees and be another voice for our students!"
