Savings on Electricity
Citizen's Oil Co-op, Inc. has partnered with Public Power & Utility, Inc. to provide electrical power for less to residents in Connecticut. The rate is guaranteed to be 5% to 20% lower than CL&P and UI. This is another way that the Citizen's Oil Co-op is working to help union members and all consumers save on the high cost of utilities.
"The great part about the electricity is, it's a free enrollment," Mark Hutson, Co-op President commented. "CL&P will still handle billing and service with just a lower price per kilowatt. And, people can enroll for electricity savings whether or not they join the Co-op. Just go to
www.oilco-op.com and sign up today!"
All 4C's members can take advantage of these savings. "The strength of group purchasing can help to get even better prices for all Connecticut residents," stated Marilyn Church, Membership Coordinator. "Whether union members use the Co-op for their heating oil or not, they still can save on their monthly electric bill."
Citizen's Oil Co-op, Inc. provides consumers with full service heating oil at a fair price. Established in 1981, through the Connecticut Citizens Action Group, the Oil Co-op was founded initially to help consumers battle the high price of home heating oil. Incorporated in 1992, Citizens Oil Co-op has been saving thousands of consumers hundreds of dollars each year. Citizen's Oil Co-op works with participating oil companies throughout Connecticut to provide members with a full service arrangement, saving consumers 20-25 cents per gallon compared to the state average.
