With our elected officials making severe cuts to our colleges, we see the need to take a more active role in elections to ensure that candidates are elected from municipal seats to state legislators who understand the need to invest in public higher education. To ensure their victory, these candidates need our volunteer time to get out the vote for their campaigns.
Endorsed candidates include a faculty member at CCSU, a Naugatuck Valley student, a Naugatuck Valley parent, an SEIU member leader, and more. Supporting these candidates through door knocking, phone banking, and voting helps create a better bench of elected officials who will make funding decisions in the future.
