PTLs Lose Much with Waivers
Part-time Lectures who teach 9 or more credits in the community colleges qualify for the same pro-rated wages and benefits as faculty in the full-time bargaining unit. Unfortunately, management usually asks these PTLs to sign a waiver. Here's a summary of what is forfeited with a waiver.
